Wraparound Care - Clubs

🍎 Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs every school day from 7:45am, offering a warm, friendly, and structured start to the morning. Children can enjoy a healthy breakfast and take part in a range of calm, purposeful activities before lessons begin.

The club is run by familiar and experienced members of our school staff and takes place in the school hall. A variety of nutritious breakfast options are provided, including cereals, toast, fruit and drinks — helping every child to start the day settled and ready to learn.

Bookings can be made via the school office or through ScoPay.
We also accept Childcare Choices vouchers as part of payment for our wraparound provision.

🌟 After-School Clubs

At St Thomas’, we are proud to offer a wide range of after-school clubs, designed to enrich our pupils’ experiences and support their interests beyond the classroom.

All clubs are led by school staff, ensuring high-quality provision in a safe and familiar environment. We aim to offer at least two clubs each day, ensuring there is something suitable for every age group across the week.

Our clubs run from 3:15pm – 4:15pm, providing opportunities for children to explore new skills, build confidence and enjoy time with friends. Activities include a mix of sports, arts and crafts, music, computing, gardening and more.

Bookings can be made through the school office or via ScoPay, and Childcare Choices vouchers can also be used towards payments.

Tax-Free Childcare Scheme

We are pleased to let you know that you are able to use the Tax-Free Childcare scheme to help pay for your child’s bookings at our Breakfast Club and After-School Club.

The scheme, run by the Government, allows eligible working parents to receive up to £2 from the Government for every £8 you pay into your Tax-Free Childcare account.

If you would like to use this option for your bookings, please speak directly to Mr Saxby to discuss how it works for our school clubs.

For further information about eligibility and how to apply, please visit the official Government website: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
